The main structure of Beijing Haichang Ocean Park is expected to be topped out by the end of the year and is expected to be completed and open to the public by 2027

The latest news shows that the Beijing Haichang Ocean Park project is expected to complete the "positive and negative zero" node in September this year, achieve the main structure topping out by the end of the year, and officially open for construction in 2027.

The project is located in the northern industrial belt of the sub center cultural and tourism area, adjacent to the Beijing Universal Resort and the Gaoloujin Station of Metro Line 7. It was jointly built by Tongcheng Construction Group and Haichang Ocean Park, with a total construction area of approximately 157000 square meters.

As the only newly built large-scale ocean theme park in Beijing after 2000, it will integrate multiple functional formats such as oceanarium, interactive performances, and themed hotels, and build a new model of ocean vacation that combines ecology, entertainment, experience, and vacation.

Two super theaters, Whale and Dolphin Theater and Happy Theater, are planned in the park, introducing rare species such as polar creatures and large marine terrestrial animals, integrating diverse experiences such as science popularization research, internet celebrity check-in, and catering, to create an innovative and immersive marine entertainment product cluster.

After completion, the project is expected to have an annual passenger flow of over 4 million people, becoming a new cultural and tourism landmark in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region.
